Tree planting 'has mind-blowing potential' to tackle climate crisis

Research shows a trillion trees could be planted to capture huge amount of carbon dioxide. Good article in the Guardian, referring to a study by the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Technical carbon capture technologies are simply not scalable enough to have a significant impact. Tree planting is more feasible and the research shows that there are large areas on the globe suitable to plant new forests.
